WHAT A HOME!

Lead City University is a privately owned institution with different faculties like faculty of Social sciences & Entrepreneurial Studies, faculty of Information Technology & Applied Sciences, faculty of Education and the faculty of Arts. There are also different departments like the department of Mass Communication & Media Technology, Politics & International Relations, Computer Science, Biochemistry, Accounting, Sports & Recreation etc. Its motto is ‘Knowledge for self-Reliance’. People outside there have wrong impression about Lead City University but I wish to tell the world today that Lead City University is the best of its kind with these following features that she holds.
[1] Her students are independently trained: Lead City University is a home were students are brought up with high level of responsibility. This is a home were students are not compelled to do anything and bells are not use to regulate students like some universities, so that when they get to the labour market they will be able to act with high level of responsibility, they do not need someone to tell them to wake up, eat, dress, go to work, even to pray because they are already matured and know what is right and what is wrong in the society.       
[2] Freedom of expression: Lead City University gives her students freedom of movement within the campus and expression. As a student, you have every right to approach any member of staff if you are in need of any form of academic help. The students also have freedom of religion. The university has a church and a mosque that you as a student can choose from to attend.
[3] Highly equipped facilities: Lead City University has qualified lecturers that are very good and friendly to students, also, they give their best to see that their students excel academically and morally. The university library is well equipped and updated that you can find about 20 different books on a particular topic. This help boost the learning of the students and even the lecturers. The library is so conducive for learning. The university has standard sporting facilities like a football field, swimming pool, basketball court, volleyball court and the likes. 
I appreciate God, my creator, my parents for sponsoring me in Lead City University (LCU) Ibadan and I pray I will not let them down.
Long live LCU!
Long live Oyo state!!
Long live Nigeria!!!

 It's August 1st today. A whole month gone from the second half of the year. Celebrating girls

Friday was national girlfriend's day and Sunday was apparently national sister's day. Who honestly knows when all these days started coming into play? But what's important is the celebration of women in our lives. Female friendships are often overlooked, insulted, claiming women are problematic, stressful, take things too seriously just because they care about their friendships enough to put emotions into it.  Seeing people celebrate females they have relationships with, either: platonic, romantic or even familial, it brings joy to the heart and keeps hope in society. And to the tea, trust the gossip mill to have kept running,the weary eyes were out; watching for the deliveries, the money bouquets, the roses and the posts. We saw you all. The Beginning of my Journey Assistant General Secretary II of Lead City Voices Stepping into the role of Assistant General Secretary II of Lead City Voices has been one of the most defining moments of my journey at Lead City University. It was not a position I stumbled upon by chance ,it was one I pursued with intention, determination, and a heart set on service. In this role, my goal is to keep our communication smooth, our records well-organised, and to support projects that will make Lead City Voices even stronger and more impactful. I want to help create an environment where every voice is heard and where we can keep raising the bar together. This position has already taught me so much from better time management to working closely with people who inspire me daily. It has helped me grow in confidence, leadership, and service. I’m thankful for this journey and excited for all that’s ahead for Lead City Voices.
