It's a new dispensation
It's August 1st today. A whole month gone from the second half of the year. It sort of feels like everything is ending and most times we just want to hold on to what we have and stay with it for as long as possible. But what if everything ending isn't so bad.
What if that door closing is going to be the best thing to happen to you, what if that chapter closing opens you up to the best chapter of your life, the page ending is ending critical challenges.
Every now and then, change is inevitable and guess who else just closed a chapter!!!
Drum rolls please!!! It is Lead City Voices- the voice for change in Lead City University.
Just as the 2024/2025 academic session came to a close, so did an era in Lead City Voices. The highly anticipated hand-over ceremony took place on the 10th July, 2025.
It was of course bubbling with laughter, memories, a lot of intellect shared and more that only those who were present can attest to that.
Of course the Lead City Voices team appreciates every one who was present: our staff adviser, the Yeye Aṣa- Professor Anjola Robbin, our dear lecturer and friend of LCV- Dr. Anthony Amedu; student bodies in school: Student Ambassadors Team (SAT), Hostel Representative Team(HRT), Lead City Intellectual Debating Society (LIDS), the executives of departments and of course the very esteemed general populace of Lead City University students. Your presence was worth more than you could possibly envisage.
With this, let's work into this new dispensation with open hearts and welcoming minds. Stay tuned to see the marvellous things LCV has in store for you all.
See you in our next post
